How To Make An Insulating Device

 For this experiment, I had to try to make Ice not fully melt in the span of 3 hours by making an insulating device. In this post I will show YOU how to make one.


Step 1: Gather materials-

-Cotton

-Styrofoam

-Cups (3)

-2-3 ice cubes


Step 2: Cover 2/3 of the cups with cotton on the OUTSIDE

On the inside cover them with styrofoam


Step 3: Keep them next to eachother and place 2-3 ice cubes in the cups.


Step 4: Wait 3 hours


Step 5: If the ice didn't melt the experiment was a SUCCESS!
